June 26th 2020; Podcast-A-Palooza COVID-19 Health & Safety
Further to our previous update on March 24th we wanted to provide additional information on the planning of Podcast-A-Palooza as it pertains to COVID-19.
As the situation continues to evolve in Florida, USA (and around the world) we have been monitoring the potential impact to the PCAP2020 event in Miami (Now October 9-12).
Whilst we continue to be hopeful that the recent case volume spikes in Florida dissipate, we are cognizant that our event is still more than 3 months away and that the situation will continue to evolve (hopefully for the better).
At this point we are not planning on rescheduling our event again however we would be remiss not to advise that we do have a V3 of contingency planning already in place should the worst occur. Rest assured our discussions are based off recommendations from the CDC, WHO and in line with the requirements of the Florida state and local Miami city regulations as well as the overall health and safety of our community and attendees.
If a “State of Emergency” is in place, our legal department can engage a Force Majeure clause to reschedule or cancel our hotel contract should the worst-case scenario occur. This does not include the countless entertainers, catering companies, security organizations and suppliers whom we have engaged.
We would like to personally thank the entire lifestyle community for supporting us during these unprecedented times, these are decisions we are not taken lightly, and your safety is paramount.
We will continue to update you as we move into the coming months and closer to the PCAP2020 event in Miami Beach.
