House Rules & Event Policies
At Libertine Events®, our goal is to create a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all attendees. These policies apply to all Libertine Events experiences, including our Podcast-A-Palooza® event series and any Libertine Events hosted gatherings.
All policies are non-negotiable. Any attendee who violates these rules may be removed from the event immediately without refund and may be banned from future Libertine Events.
Consent & Respect
Consent is the foundation of every Libertine Events experience.
No attendee is ever obligated to participate in any activity. Consent must be enthusiastic, informed, and ongoing. We operate under a strict “Always Ask First” principle.
There are no exceptions to this rule. Every guest, regardless of gender, orientation, or experience level, is responsible for their actions and behavior at all times.
If any attendee is observed or reported to be violating consent standards or personal boundaries, Libertine Events staff may take immediate action, including removal from the event.
If you ever feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or unsure, please speak to a Libertine Events team member immediately.
General House Rules
To maintain a safe and respectful environment, all guests must follow these guidelines:
- Respect all attendees, staff, and venue personnel at all times.
- Photography, video, or recording of any kind is strictly prohibited in public or shared areas without explicit consent.
- Sexual activity is not permitted in public or shared spaces unless specifically designated.
- Harassment, discrimination, racism, sexism, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Libertine Events reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behavior disrupts the experience or safety of others.
- Please secure all valuables. Libertine Events and host venues are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
If you believe someone is violating these rules, please notify staff immediately.
Alcohol & Substance Policy
Libertine Events maintains a strict policy regarding responsible alcohol service and prohibited substances.
- Illegal or illicit substances are strictly prohibited. Any violations may be reported to local authorities.
- Alcohol service will follow all local laws and venue regulations.
- Libertine Events and venue staff reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or disorderly.
- Attendees may be removed from the event for unsafe or disruptive behavior related to alcohol consumption.
Community & Digital Platform Guidelines
Our Libertine Connect community and digital platforms are designed to be safe, respectful spaces for open conversation and education. Members must:
- Treat others with respect
- Avoid harassment, bullying, or discrimination
- Protect the privacy and confidentiality of the community
- Follow all consent and safety principles online as well as in person

Weapons-Free Policy
All Libertine Events experiences are private, weapons-free environments.
Attendees are not permitted to bring any weapons onto the premises, including firearms (concealed or open carry), knives, or any item deemed a weapon.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
All Libertine Events tickets and packages are considered non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of a change of mind or personal circumstance.
However, Libertine Events will make reasonable efforts to assist with resale opportunities once an event or ticket category is sold out. Resale is not guaranteed.

Inclusivity & Cultural Sensitivity
Libertine Events is an inclusive and welcoming community. We celebrate diversity and expect all guests to do the same.
Some themed events may involve costumes or creative expression. However, cultural appropriation, offensive costumes, or insensitive portrayals will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Black or brown face
- Cultural or religious dress used disrespectfully
- Native or ceremonial attire worn inappropriately
